This Solo The Predacessor Of The Mercedes MD-709D/Doormobile (St.Columba II). It Too Was Recieved In Late 2006/Early 2007. It Is Expected To Be Returned To Lessor As It Is In A White Livery But Is Remaining In The Fleet At This Time.

Photographs Of Optare Solo 8. This Vehicle Is Named After The Island Of Lindisfarne , Which Is Just Off The Northumberland Coast, Up Near Berwick Upon Tweed. The Island Is Very Famous For It's Religious History During The Period Known Today As The 'Dark Ages', The Famous 'Lindisfarne Gospels' Originated From Here In The Early 6th Century AD.
